A note from the developers of Pueblo Escondido at Playa Azul:
“When Rhonda and I first moved to Costa Rica we really didn’t know what to expect. On one hand we wanted to experience “the real Costa Rica”… but we also wanted a lot of the amenities that Costa Ricans really didn’t have.
So we compromised. We developed and built like Ticos (Costa Ricans) but with American style and with a lot of amenities that “gringos” wanted.
And because Rhonda and I were not rich, we wanted homes and developments that we liked and yet we wanted a price point that almost everyone could afford. We wanted to give people as much as they could possibly get for their money.
And we think that we have succeeded. Even with the economy in many places in worse shape than when we arrived…our developments and homes have been extremely well accepted and have sold extremely well…and in a short period of time.
Except for Pueblo Escondido.
And we thought we had done everything right…the right location: among expensive developments and only a short ways from the most popular tourist towns on the central pacific coast; …the right price: absolutely nothing could compare with our price points, and I mean nothing…for gated, titled and secure we were FAR less than the competition; … we were in the midst of the most popular wildlife areas in the entire country; …and now, we are less than an hour from San Jose with the new highway just recently opened.
Everything fit…except this development and sales were lagging.
But… we built several homes, and more people began to take notice of Pueblo Escondido. The people that live there now…absolutely love it.
